There is no session more fun than a cake smash photoshoot! Or as it is sometimes known a "smash and splash" session.
I was one of the first photographers in Hertfordshire to offer this type of photoshoot. Originally starting in America these photoshoots have grown in popularity year after year and are now offered all over the UK. It's not surprising given the winning combination of cute babies and cake - and there really is nothing cuter than a baby in a roll top bubble bath!
Cake Smash Photoshoots take place at my designated home studio in Buntingford, Hertfordshire. The room is purposely designed to be accommodating for these sessions, so you can relax and watch your little ones go wild without worrying about any of the mess or cleanup afterwards! All you have to do is come up with a theme/colour scheme you would like and we take care of everything else. We are located just off the A10 between Royston & Hertford and are easily accessible from most Hertfordshire towns, such as Stevenage, Baldock, Letchworth, Ware, Hertford & St. Albans.
Cake Smash photoshoots are suitable for both 1st and 2nd birthday celebrations! It's a fun and informal way to celebrate your little one's special birthday, lots of fun, lots of mess, each experience is completely unique and allows your little one to express the personality and have fun in a tailor-made setup of your choosing.
Being a Cake Smash photographer is probably the best job there is. A Cake Smash photoshoot does exactly what it says on the tin! It it involves a beautiful backdrop and setup, your little one in a special outfit, (usually just a nappy cover and bowtie for boys, and tutus for girls) giving them a cake, and letting them be free to enjoy and express themselves!
You might be surprised to learn that not all children go wild on the cake! Each child is different and this type of session really allows me to capture their individual personalities and reactions to the cake and experience. No two babies or cake smash sessions are ever the same! That's part of the fun of being a cake smash photographer, I really enjoy bringing out your child's unique personality and making sure that comes across in the images we capture.
To secure your cake smash photoshoot we take a booking fee of £99 including a custom-made bespoke, professionally baked cake. Because we only ever use a professional, registered and insured baker we are easily able to accommodate any dietary requirements or allergies. Your booking fee covers your session, all decorations, props etc and is deducted from whichever package you choose to purchase after your cake smash photoshoot.
We offer a choice of packages, our pricing is fully transparent meaning there are no hidden costs or additional extras. You don't need to pay for your package until after your session and you have viewed all your edited images.
